The adventures of "The Pack" living in the Alpujarras, the foothills of Spain's Sierra Nevada mountains, Andalucia

The two juniors of the pack, Rita and Arko, joined the hu’parents on a day out.
Kyra and I got to stay home and enjoy some quiet time without the troublesome duo. Actually we were not impressed that we had been left behind. Hu’mum did tell us that the day would be too long and the route too hard for us. Hu’mum felt very horrible leaving us behind but she knew it was the right thing to do.
So the 4 of them piled in the car, picked up Andrew (he often looks after us too) en route and drove to Trevelez (the highest village in Spain) where they met up with their friends Laura and Sam. It was very cold and most of the uphill was done in the shade. They got to the top and were rewarded with fantastic views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. They also encountered many many Ibex which were great entertainment for Rita and Arko. Here are a few pictures from their day.
